Christopher Thomas are pleased to report the letting of 6 Commercial Road Staines, 400 sq.ft. of office and stores plus a yard of circa 3,000 sq.ft. at £13,500 per annum to a local plumbing company.

The last unit at Fairacres Windsor, 4,900 sq.ft, has just been let to Ferrari specialists QV London.

Even before coming to market formally a letting of 3,000 sq.ft. of industrial premises in Thorpe, Egham has been agreed, with a facilities management specialist.

Most of the units at Tims Yard Staines have now also been let leaving industrial supply throughout the Staines Egham Chertsey and Windsor areas in short supply.

Christopher Thomas are successfully letting offices for clients across the region. In the past few weeks the top floor of 54 High Street Eton has been taken by Jakers ! owners of the chidrens programme as seen on Channel 5. American software company Fusion IO have taken 2,000 sq.ft. at Heathrow Business Centre Egham and the first suite at  newly refurbished Pilgrim House Windsor is due to let this week to a Japanese software company. Christopher Thomas will have lots more to report later this month with further lettings occuring at an encouraging  pace.

Christopher Thomas are pleased to report noticeable activity in the Thames Valley and Surrey region. In addition to successes this year already in Woking, Heathrow, Windsor, Staines and Egham, there are a further 20 transactions currently proceeding out of a total stock of 57 properties and schemes. Most recently client, Rawnet Ltd, have completed the acqusition of 2,800 sq.ft. of offices at Berkshire House in Ascot High Street.

So far Christopher Thomas have conducted 60 viewings in the 50 working days to date, with the rate of veiwngs per day increasing…..and total disposals completed exceeding the total volume conducted in the whole of 2009, now approaching the 100,000 sq.ft. mark.

This points to tangible evidence of a market on the turn  – and diminished supply, particularly of good quality stock.

Christopher Thomas are pleased to have acted for Tedwood Ltd in the letting of 8,000 sq.ft at Galleymead Road Colnbrook. The premises were taken last week by UCH Cargo Handling Ltd. This adds to other lettings in Gallymead Road succesfully achieved for clients on the same estate.

Acting as joint agent with Morgan Smithyes and on the instructions of Property Initiatives, Christopher Thomas are pleased to announce two recent lettings at the iconic Dukes Court office next to Woking station.

Marketing commenced just under a year ago since which circa 50,000 sq.ft. of landlord space has been let, firstly 26,000 sq.ft. to Plan International, then circa 8,000 sq.ft. to Paradigm and in the past month more space to CCS TLM Ltd and last week just under 5,000 sq.ft to Rostrvm.

The New Year office market has witnessed a noticeable improvement in demand and lettings with tenants vying for the last available Grade A suites.
